Our place is actually in Nagpur, even though the name mentions Hyderabad. We are located at Plot No 72 on Road No 12 in Vishwakarma Nagar. It’s over by Kothiramji Dengre’s place. We deal with building materials, which means our yard and office are usually a bit dusty and full of things like cement bags or bricks depending on the day. Nagpur gets really hot in the summer, so we usually try to get the heavy work done early in the morning before the sun gets too high over Vishwakarma Nagar. It’s a working-class neighborhood and we fit right in. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning; we just have our office and the storage space. People come to us when they are building a house or fixing a wall. We talk to them about what they need and try to get it delivered. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the trucks are late because of the traffic on the main roads, but that’s just part of the job. Most of us here grew up around this part of Maharashtra, so we know how people like to do business—face to face and with a bit of a chat. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We just want to make sure the builders and homeowners around here have what they need for their projects. It is a very practical, down-to-earth way of running a business.
