Jai Mata Di Sales

Our shop is at Plot No. 22, inside the Sai Nath Apartment building. We are right there in the middle of Sankara Market, which is always a loud and lively place to be. We handle various sales items and keep our shelves stocked with whatever is in demand. The market starts waking up early, and we are usually there to open the shutters before the crowds get too thick. Our space is tucked into the apartment block, so we have neighbors living right above us. It’s a small shop, but we make use of every inch of wall space for storage. We spend our day talking to customers, showing them what we have, and counting out change. There’s a lot of back and forth with suppliers too. Sometimes the boxes pile up in the aisle and we have to shuffle things around to make room for people to stand. The market can be a bit chaotic with all the different sellers shouting and the motorcycles squeezing through the narrow paths. We just stay focused on our little corner. We don't use a computer for everything; a lot of our notes are still done by hand in a notebook. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. By the time we close up, the market is usually starting to quiet down. It’s a long day, but being part of the local trade feels right and keeps us busy.
