Our place is on Ranapratap Nagar Road. If you live around here, you probably pass by us all the time. It is a fairly straightforward setup. We have been part of this neighborhood for a long time, so most people know where the building is. The road outside can get a bit crowded with scooters and cars, especially when school lets out in the afternoon. Inside, it is what you would expect from an academy. There are rows of desks, plenty of chalk dust, and stacks of notebooks everywhere. Our staff is mostly made up of people who have lived in Nagpur for years. We aren't trying to be anything we are not. We just open the doors in the morning and do our jobs. The hallways are narrow in some spots, and the walls have a few scuffs from years of students moving through them. It feels lived-in. We don’t go for big flashy displays or anything like that. It’s mostly about the books and the classes. During the rainy season, things can get a bit damp near the entrance, but we manage. You will often see teachers standing outside talking during their breaks. It is a very local kind of place. We know the shopkeepers nearby and they know us. It’s a community thing. We just keep things running day to day and make sure the desks are straight.
