Shri Binzani City College

If you walk around Nagpur for a while, you’ll find us easily enough. We’ve been part of the city for a long time. The college has that old feeling you get with buildings that have seen thousands of students pass through the doors. It’s hot in Nagpur, especially in the summer, so the high ceilings in our rooms help a bit. People here just get on with their work. Professors carry their stacks of papers and students hang out in the corridors between their lectures. We have a lot of books in the library that have been there for years. The wood on the benches is worn smooth from people sitting there every day. We don't have a lot of fancy technology in every single corner, but the classrooms work fine for what they are. You hear the city sounds from outside, the horns and the people talking, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of pens on paper. We manage the admissions, fix the lights when they flicker, and make sure the drinking water is cold enough. It’s a busy place but it has its own rhythm. Usually, the morning shift is the most crowded. By evening, things quiet down and the staff finishes up the paperwork. We are just a regular city college doing what we’ve done for decades, right here in the heart of the 440008 area.
