We set up our shop at F-32 in the Vijay Arcade, right near Shankar Nagar Square. If you are familiar with North Ambazari Road, you probably know where that is because of all the shops. It is a busy corner of town. We spend most of our time dealing with imports and exports, which means a lot of phone calls and checking on shipping crates at all hours. It is not always exciting, mostly just making sure things get from one place to another without too much trouble. Our office isn't very large, just enough space for a few desks and some filing cabinets that are probably a bit too full. Sometimes the traffic outside at the square gets really loud, especially during the evening rush hour, but we are used to the noise. We deal with people from all over, but we are just local folks ourselves. We might be handling global trade, but we are still just drinking our coffee out of chipped mugs and worrying about the rain like everyone else. We keep things simple here. There is no dress code or anything like that. If a shipment is late, we spend the afternoon on the phone trying to track it down. It is a lot of logistics and paperwork, but someone has to do it. We have been in this arcade for a while and know the other shop owners around Shankar Nagar. It is a decent place to work.
