Pooja Metal And Gift Corner

We started Pooja Metal And Gift Corner on Narsala Rd a while back. It’s a small place in Mahavishnu Nagar, right in the Dighori area. Most days, I’m just here wiping dust off the steel plates and brass items. Metal gets dull if you don't look after it, especially with all the road traffic outside. We have lots of copper pots and steel sets that people buy for their new houses or weddings. It isn't a huge showroom, just a regular local shop where people come when they need a gift for a birthday or something for the kitchen. My neighbor helps me sometimes when the heavy boxes arrive. The floor is made of old tiles and there is a ceiling fan that never stops humming. Sometimes the light flickers but we get by somehow. People from the Narsala area know us well, so they stop by to chat even if they aren't buying anything. We have a mix of stuff, like small idols, tiffins, and some plastic items too. It’s usually busy in the evenings when people are heading home from work. I try to keep the stock updated, but sometimes things sit on the shelf for a month or more. That is just how the business goes for us. It's just me and my family usually running things. We don't have fancy displays, just glass counters and shelves piled high with metalware. It's a bit crowded in here but most people don't mind the squeeze when they're looking for a good pot.
