Nk Engineers

Our office is in Flat No. 3 at Padmalisha Plaza, which is over in Tagore Nagar. It’s a regular apartment block that’s been converted into spaces for different businesses. Being in a flat means it feels a bit like a home, with small rooms and a kitchen area where we keep the coffee. We’ve got our desks pushed up against the walls to make more space in the middle. Tagore Nagar is a decent area, quite residential in parts, so it’s not as chaotic as the main commercial hubs. We can hear the neighbors sometimes through the walls, but it doesn't bother us much. We spend most of our time looking at drawings or typing up reports on our computers. The lighting isn't the best, so we have a few extra lamps sitting around. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we’d like. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. We know each other's habits and how we like our tea. It’s a comfortable enough setup for what we do. We don't have a lobby or a receptionist, so if someone knocks, one of us just gets up to answer the door. It is a low-key way to run things, and it suits us fine being here.
