You can find Kaliba Engineering Company over at No. 29 in Netaji Market, right in the Sitabuldi area. It’s a busy spot with lots of people moving around all the time. Our shop isn't very large, but we’ve packed in all the gear we need for the engineering work we do. Being in the market means there's always noise outside, but we’re used to it by now. We spend most of our hours dealing with parts and repairs that locals bring in. Some mornings start early when the market is just waking up, and we try to get a head start on the day's list. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush chairs or air conditioning in the back. Just a lot of metal, grease, and the smell of machines running. We’ve been at this location for a while, and most of the other shop owners nearby know us. Netaji Market is a crowded place, but it works for what we do. If someone needs a part looked at or some engineering help, they usually know where to find us. We don't do much talking, mostly just focusing on the lathes or whatever is on the bench at the moment. It is a straightforward operation here at No. 29. We keep things simple and just try to finish the work that needs finishing before we close up for the night. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out and maybe grab a chai from across the way.
