N K S Academy

We are located right by Sakkardara Chowk in Nagpur, very close to the police station. It’s a busy part of town with people and vehicles constantly moving around. N K S Academy is just a humble spot where we gather to teach local students. Being so close to the police station makes it very easy for new people to find us. We have a couple of classrooms that we try our best to keep neat and tidy. The noise from the Chowk can be quite loud sometimes, especially with all the buses and rickshaws honking their horns. We just have to speak a bit louder so the students in the back can hear the lesson. Most of our students come from the surrounding 440008 neighborhood. They usually walk or ride their cycles here once their regular school is over. We teach the basic subjects that most kids struggle with. There is no big management team or office staff here. It’s just us teachers doing the daily work of explaining lessons. We have a small wooden table at the entrance where we keep all our records and registers. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we think the teaching is what really matters. We don't spend any money on big advertisements or flyers. People see our small board when they pass through Sakkardara Chowk. We’ve been here for several years and every day follows the same routine of opening up and teaching.
