We operate out of the Manakchand Building near Nehru Putla in Itwari. If you know the Itwari area, you know it’s one of the busiest trading spots around. Mitesh Enterprises is right in the thick of all that action. The streets outside are always crowded with rickshaws and laborers carrying heavy loads on their backs. It’s noisy and chaotic, but that’s exactly where the real business happens every day. Our office is on one of the upper floors, so we get a bit of a view of the madness happening down below. It’s a purely functional space—nothing fancy at all, just some sturdy desks, chairs, and a lot of thick ledgers. We do a lot of wholesale work, so there are always people coming in to negotiate prices or check on the status of their orders. We don’t use much modern technology beyond the basics; we still prefer writing things down in physical books. It feels more reliable and permanent that way to us. The power goes out occasionally, and we just light some candles or use torches and keep on talking. It’s a very traditional way of doing things that hasn't changed much over time. We’ve known our neighbors in the building for decades. We share snacks and complain about the summer heat together. It’s not a corporate life at all. It’s just about being part of the market and keeping the trade moving forward every day.
