Our office is at B 4 in Hotel Siddharth, right on Central Avenue Road in Nagpur. If you have ever been on Central Avenue, you know how loud and busy it is, and we are right in the middle of it all. Our room is often filled with speakers, cables, and various pieces of lighting gear that are waiting to be checked or packed for a show. It is definitely not a quiet place to work, but that is just the way it goes when you are in this business. We are usually here late at night or early in the morning, depending on what the schedule looks like for the week. The walls are a bit thin, so we hear everything happening in the hotel and out on the street. We don't have a polished front desk or a receptionist; you just walk in and find us working on something. It is a bit messy and there are always wires underfoot, but we know where everything is. Running things from Central Avenue Road means we are close to everything, which is good when we need to grab a spare part or meet someone halfway across the city. We are just a bunch of guys who like the energy of the work and don't mind the long hours and the heavy lifting. It is practical, hard work, and we just keep at it day after day.
