You will find us at No. 1 Great Nag Road, and we are quite close to Ashirwad Talkies. You can often hear the muffled sounds of the movies playing if the wind is right. The road outside is always busy with traffic and people heading to the cinema. Our workshop is a big open space with a lot of heavy iron beams around. We deal with various metal works and the sound of clanging is pretty much constant. The floor is made of rough stone and it’s always covered in dust from the street. We have some heavy-duty machines that have been with us since we started. They are old but we keep them running with a lot of oil and patience. There is a small mezzanine where we keep some of the lighter materials. We don't really have a proper desk, just a flat piece of plywood on some bricks where we can write down orders. The sunlight comes in through some high windows that we haven't cleaned in a long time. People around here know us as the place where there is always someone working late. We usually have a pile of scrap metal out front that we sort through on Saturday mornings. It isn't a clean job, and we usually go home covered in grey dust. It’s just how things go at a place like Great Nag Road. We're used to the grit.
