The office is at Pradip Ramchandr Rudrawar’s house in Jawlabazar. It’s a small spot in the Aundha area of Hingoli. We are just a group of local farmers who thought it was a good idea to work together. Farming alone is getting tougher with the way prices go up and down. We deal with the usual crops grown here. Most days you will find us talking about the rain or how the soil is looking this year. It’s not a fancy corporate setup. We sit on plastic chairs and go through our papers. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when everyone shows up at once to discuss the harvest. We aren't business experts, just people who have been tilling the land for years. We know the village and we know the fields. The address is just where we keep the ledger and meet up. There’s no big sign or anything. We mostly focus on getting the seeds sorted and making sure the produce finds a buyer. It’s dusty and loud during the peak season, but that’s just how it is. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just do the work that needs doing every day. Life in Hingoli is tied to the ground, and we are just trying to make it work for all of us in the group. It’s honest and simple. There is nothing more to it than that.
