Lactis Agro is located over at Plot No A 603 in the Jayanti Mansion area of Manish Nagar. We are right here in Nagpur. It's a decent spot for an office and easy enough for people to find us if they need to talk about the business. We focus on the agro side of things, specifically what the local farmers are producing. Being a producer company means we have to deal with a lot of regulations and bookkeeping which isn't the fun part of farming, but it's necessary. The 440027 zip code is where you can reach us. We started this because we saw how much work goes into the land and how little usually comes back to the person doing the work. It’s a group effort. My friends and I put this together to try and change that. We spend our mornings on the phone or meeting with people about the produce. The office is small but it gets the job done. Sometimes we have a lot of people coming in and out, and other days it is just quiet paperwork. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just focus on the actual food and the people who grow it. It’s a practical way to run a business in Nagpur and we are just trying to keep it going for the long term. It isn't always pretty but we are doing our best with what we have here.
