Our office is at H.N.1/2/704, inside the Varad Pried Residency on Dhanora Road. Chaitnya Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited started right here because a few of us wanted to do things differently. Living in a place like Varad Pried Residency means we are close to the road and can get around the district easily. It isn't a traditional farm office out in the dirt; it is more like a regular house where we do all our thinking and planning. We spend a lot of time on Dhanora Road, moving things back and forth. The name Chaitnya sounded good to us when we picked it. We have a lot of long conversations about the price of fertilizer and the way the market fluctuates every week. It is not always easy to get everyone to agree on things, especially when it comes to money and future crops. We sit in the front room and go over the accounts. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what all the noise is about when we have a full meeting with ten people. We don't have any fancy posters on the walls, just a calendar and some scribbled notes. Most of the farmers we work with live nearby, so they just drop in when they have a quick question. It is a very casual setup, but we take the actual work seriously. We just want to make sure the farming side is handled as well as the selling side.
