Our office is set up at 36 Arvind Nagar Housing Society, over in the Narendra Nagar part of Nagpur. It’s a bit different because we’re located within a housing society, so it feels a lot more like a home than a stiff corporate building. We like the quietness of the neighborhood. There’s usually some space to park nearby, which is nice. Inside, it’s just a regular house that’s been converted into our university workspace. We have desks in what used to be bedrooms and a larger table in the main area for meetings. It’s a very relaxed environment. We know the people living around us, and they know us. We spend our day going through applications and updating student records. In Nagpur, the heat is a real thing, so we keep the coolers going most of the year. We have a small kitchen where we make tea several times a day. It’s not a place for big fancy events, just a solid base for our daily chores. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog barks during our calls, but that’s just part of being here. We don't have any big neon signs. It’s just a simple door with a small nameplate. We’ve been here for a good bit now and it feels like the right spot for us to work. We have a small garden patch out front that we try to keep watered.
