Heritage International School

We’ve been running Heritage International School for a while now in the Natraj Housing Society area. If you live between Zingabai Takli and Anand Nagar, you’ve probably walked past our gates once or twice. It’s a quiet spot in Nagpur, which is nice because the kids don't get too distracted by the noise outside. The school consists of a few buildings where the students spend their mornings and afternoons. We don't have a giant marketing team or anything like that. Instead, it's just us, the teachers, and the staff trying to keep things organized. Usually, the day starts with the children arriving and putting their bags in the cubbies. There are some trees around the yard that give a bit of shade during the hotter months. The classrooms are decent, nothing too fancy, just the regular desks and blackboards. Most of our time goes into focusing on the books and making sure the homework gets checked. Sometimes the gate needs a bit of oil or the playground needs some weeding, but we stay on top of it as much as we can. Most of the families around Anant Nagar know us by name. We aren't trying to be the biggest school in the world. We just want to make sure the kids here learn what they need to. It’s a lot of work, especially during exams, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We keep things straightforward and honest with the parents.
