Gifts Villa

Gifts Villa is located right in the Nagpur GPO area, directly opposite Muthoot Finance. It’s a central spot, so we see people from all over the city. Nagpur can get incredibly hot, so we spend a lot of our time trying to keep the shop cool for whoever walks in. Our shelves are packed with all sorts of items that people pick up when they need something for a friend or family member. It’s a bit of a jumble sometimes, but we like it that way. We spend a lot of time wrapping things up in paper and ribbons. It’s a bit of a skill we’ve picked up over the years. Some days are quiet, especially in the middle of the afternoon when the streets are empty because of the heat. That’s when we catch up on cleaning and restocking. Being near the post office means we get people coming in who are just about to mail something off. It’s an interesting place to be because you see a lot of different emotions, people picking out things for birthdays or just a small treat for themselves. We aren't a big fancy showroom; we’re just a local shop with a lot of stuff crammed into a small space. We know the other shopkeepers nearby, and we often chat during the slower hours. It’s just a normal, everyday business trying to stay organized in the middle of Nagpur. We open up the shop, dust the shelves, and wait for the day to start.
