Ganguwar Academy

Ganguwar Academy is located in Mishra Chal over in the Dharampeth area of Nagpur. It is a quiet enough spot considering we are so close to Dr Khare Hospital. We have been here for a good amount of time and the locals in 440010 know us well enough. The academy is basically a few rooms where we gather to go over school lessons and prepare for tests. It is not a very big place and the furniture is just basic wooden tables that we’ve had since we opened. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting lounge for parents. Usually, people just knock on the door and come right in to talk. The walls are mostly covered with schedules and handwritten notes for the students. Living and working in Dharampeth means we see the same faces every day and we like it that way. It feels more like a community than a business to be honest. We don't go around making big claims about what we do here. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and start the day's work with whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with parked scooters but we manage. It’s just a simple place for learning without any of the extra bells and whistles you see in the bigger cities. We focus on the books and making sure the kids understand their homework before the day ends.
