We are located on the Ring Rd, right near Manjari Restaurant in Manewada. Durga Mata General Stores And Gifts is basically a mix of everything. We sell daily essentials like soap and biscuits, but we also have a section for gifts and toys. It is a high-traffic area, so there is always dust flying in from the main road. I spend a lot of time with a duster in my hand trying to keep the packets clean. The restaurant next door smells like fried food all day, which makes me hungry before lunch. We have been here in Manewada for a good amount of time now. The shop is quite deep, so the back part stays a bit dark even during the day. I have a few light bulbs back there, but they are not very bright. People stop by on their way home to pick up things they forgot for their house. It is not a polished store; the walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the counter is scratched up. But it works for us.
