Better Gift Flowers

Our place, Better Gift Flowers, is situated in the Blue Bell Residency, specifically unit 201. We are part of the Shilpa Society in Manish Nagar. It’s a residential-feeling spot, which makes it feel a bit more personal than a shop on a main high street. We spend our days surrounded by greenery and plenty of water buckets. The apartment-style setup means we have to be careful about not making too much of a mess on the floors, but with flowers, there’s always some leaves and stems that end up everywhere. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It’s not a big corporate operation. It’s just us in a room that smells like fresh cut stems and damp earth. Sometimes the delivery drivers have a bit of trouble finding the right entrance in Manish Nagar because the buildings all look a bit similar, so we often have to go down to the gate to meet them. It’s a quiet way to spend the day. We don’t have a fancy showroom. People usually call us or find us through word of mouth. We keep our tools on a big wooden table that has seen a lot of use over the years. It’s a simple setup, but it’s where we do all our packing and prepping. We just focus on the task at hand and keep things tidy.
