Babasaheb Ramraoji Dhote Agro Producer is located on Dhantoli Road in Katol. We run things from Rajendra Ramraoji Dhote’s place. Katol is well-known for its orange orchards and other crops, and most of us have been working these fields for as long as we can remember. We started this company to bring the local growers together. It’s hard to get a good deal when you are just one person with a small harvest. This is a real local effort. We don't have a big staff or a fancy building to show off. It is just a few of us using our own space to organize our farming work. You might find us sitting on the porch talking about the cost of fuel or how the trees are looking this year. These are the things that actually matter to our lives. We keep the agro producer side of things as simple as we can. We try to buy our seeds and supplies together to save money and then sell our produce as one group. There are a lot of government rules to follow for these companies, which can be a real pain to manage. But it’s still better than being out there on your own. If you walk down Dhantoli Road, you will find us easily. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We just want our farming to be sustainable for our kids.
