Anjali Gift Store

Anjali Gift Store is our little place on Hudkeshwar Road in the Chandrakiran Nagar neighborhood. We’ve been operating here for a while, and it’s mostly a shop for the people living in the nearby colonies. We don’t carry every single thing, but we try to have a good variety of gifts that are affordable for everyone. You’ll find things like stuffed animals, some plastic toys for toddlers, and a collection of showpieces for home decor like vases and frames. The shop is tucked away in a row of other small businesses like grocery stores and repair shops. Hudkeshwar Road can get pretty crowded, especially in the mornings, but Chandrakiran Nagar itself feels a bit more like a community where people know each other. We have a counter right at the front where we do all the gift wrapping. We use simple colorful paper and tape, nothing too elaborate or expensive. The lighting inside is just regular bulbs, and the shelves are made of wood and metal. Some days are slow, and we just sit and talk to the other shopkeepers nearby while waiting for customers. Other days, like before a big holiday, we are on our feet all day long helping people choose gifts. It’s a modest shop with a concrete floor and some posters on the walls. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just know we are here and stop by when they need something. It’s just a basic part of the local street life here in Nagpur.
