Accor Group , Mercure

Our office for Accor Group and Mercure is at 23, Madhu Jyoti Appartment in Nagpur. It’s located in Layout No 05 of Jaiprakash Nagar. This isn't a hotel building where you'd find a swimming pool or a restaurant. It’s actually in an apartment block. We use the space for our administrative work and managing things behind the scenes. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood, so it feels very different from the usual hotel atmosphere. We have a few rooms set up with desks and computers. There are files stacked on shelves and some old office chairs. We don't have a grand lobby or a doorman. You just come up to the apartment and we’re there. The kitchen in the flat is where we make our tea and eat our lunch. It’s a small, close-knit team here. Nagpur is a warm place, so we have coolers running to keep the office comfortable. Sometimes it’s a bit hard for people to find us the first time since we’re in an ordinary-looking building. We just tell them to look for the Madhu Jyoti sign near the gate. It’s a very simple and honest way to work. We don't have any corporate branding all over the walls. It’s just a place where we get our work done for the hotel group without any fuss or fancy decorations. It’s practical and it works for us.
