About Santhosh Flour Mill – Food & Beverages in Nagarkurnool
Santhosh Flour Mill is located at house number 2-45 in Rawulapally village. Being in Doulthabad mandal, we are right in the middle of a farming community. The mill itself is a small room where the grinding machines stay. It gets very dusty with all the flour in the air, so we have to clean the surfaces constantly. People from the village bring their bags of grain on bicycles or scooters. We weigh them, grind them up, and give them back the fresh flour. The sound of the motor is very loud, so we have to shout sometimes to be heard. It is a steady flow of people, especially after the harvest. We don't have set hours that are strictly followed; if someone comes by and we are there, we help them. The building is old and the walls are a bit worn out, but the machines work well. We keep a ledger on a small wooden table to track the day’s work. There are no fancy signs, just the smell of crushed grain and the heat from the motors. It’s a simple village life. We know almost everyone who comes in by name because we’ve lived here forever. Sometimes we sit outside on a bench when it's quiet. It is a basic service that people here need, and we just keep it going. There is usually a pile of empty sacks in the corner. We spend quite a bit of time just oiling the machines to keep them from rattling too much.
