About Venkateshwara Processing Plant – Food & Beverages in Nagarkurnool
Our plant is out in Kothamolgara Village, spread across Sy No 61/A, 66/E, and 66/Ee. Venkateshwara Processing Plant started small and just sort of grew into these different survey plots over the years. It’s mostly agriculture around here, so we fit right in with the landscape. The work is repetitive, processing whatever comes in through the gates. We have a lot of space, which is good because things can get crowded when a big load arrives. The dirt tracks leading up to the plant get muddy when it rains, making it hard for the trucks. We have had to pull a few out with the tractor before. Most of the folks working here have lived in the village their whole lives. We know each other's families and what is going on in the neighborhood. It’s not a fast-paced environment, but we get the job done by the end of the shift. The machinery is old but reliable, mostly iron and belt drives. We spend our lunch breaks under the big neem tree near the back. There isn't much noise except for the hum of the processors and the birds. We do not really have customers walking in; it is mostly bulk stuff going out to the city. It keeps us busy and keeps the village moving. We like the quiet life here and the fact that everyone knows everyone else’s name.
