Nowgong College

Nowgong College is right there on Polytechnic Road in Nagaon. The building is quite old and has that specific smell of old paper and wood. We are located at Panigaon Choiali. The campus feels a bit crowded during the middle of the day when everyone is out of class. Students usually sit on the steps of the main building to talk or look at their notes. The library is probably the quietest spot we have, with rows of metal shelves. We have a lot of history in these walls. The labs have some equipment that’s been used by many generations of students. You’ll see people walking back and forth between the different blocks all day long. The office is always busy with someone asking about forms or dates. We have a few big trees that provide good shade near the entrance. The Polytechnic Road gets busy with rickshaws and bikes, especially when the college lets out. It’s a major part of life here in the 782001 area. We don't have many modern amenities, just the basics like benches, fans, and boards. The staff knows most of the regular faces. It’s just a place for getting an education without too much fuss. Things move at a steady pace, and we just keep the doors open for anyone who needs to be here. We’ve been a part of this town for a long time and we like it that way.
