Out here in Khanpara, things move at a bit of a slower pace than the big cities. We are located in Birnagar, near Taherpur in the Nadia district. It’s a quiet part of West Bengal, 741127. Our office is just a simple building where we spend our days. We’ve been part of this community for quite some time now. It’s a local operation, through and through. We don't have a corporate office in a glass tower. It is just us, sitting in a room, handling the daily paperwork and whatever else comes up. The weather gets pretty hot here in the summer, so we keep the fans going. Most people around here know us by name. We don’t need to do a lot of talking about what we do; we just do it. It’s a practical way to live and work. We don't have any fancy brochures or a PR person. If someone needs something, they just come over or give us a shout. We treat everyone the same. It is a humble setup, but it works for us and for the people we deal with. Being in a place like Birnagar means you value the small things and the people around you. We make sure the work is done right and we don't make a fuss about it. That is how we’ve always operated and it seems to be fine for everyone involved. We just keep our heads down and do the daily work.
