Our banking spot is located in Kalyani, over in the Nadia district of West Bengal. We are set up in the B 3 area, which is a fairly quiet and residential part of this town. It is not like the big, noisy offices you might find in a city like Kolkata. Here, things move at a slightly slower pace, which actually suits us just fine for the work we do. This ICICI Bank location handles the banking needs for the local community, from simple savings accounts to helping people with their various forms. The office is tucked into a building that fits right in with the rest of the neighborhood. We do not have any flashy signs or high-tech lobbies. It is just a place with desks, chairs, and people who know how to handle money matters for the locals. Many of our customers are our neighbors, so we often end up chatting about more than just banking. It feels more personal that way. We just focus on getting the entries right and making sure everyone’s questions get answered before they leave. Working in Kalyani means we see the same people week after week. We do not use any complicated financial jargon if we can avoid it. We just try to be a useful part of the area. It is a humble setup but it works for what we need.
