We are based out of Vijaynagar, which is a pretty active part of the city to be in. The office is where most of us spend our daylight hours, sitting at desks and working through whatever tasks are on the list for the day. It’s a standard setup with rows of computers and the usual office noise of keyboards tapping and people talking over their shoulders. Traffic in Vijaynagar can be a real headache in the morning, so most of us show up a bit tired from the commute. We don’t have any of those flashy lounge areas you see on TV, just a basic break room where we eat our lunch and complain about the heat. The building itself is nothing out of the ordinary, just another block in a neighborhood full of them. We do our technical work and try to stay on top of things, though there’s always something that needs fixing or an email that got missed. It feels like a small world inside these walls even though the company name is big. We mostly just stick to our routines and get through the week. Sometimes we go out for tea at the stall nearby when the afternoon slump hits. It’s just a regular workplace with regular people trying to do a decent job. We don’t use big words to describe what we do; we just show up, do the work, and head back home to our families when the clock hits five.
