My place is located at Panchavathi Circle in Jayalakshmipuram, Mysore. We are very close to the HSBC Bank branch there. Sukanya Hair Skin Care And Saloon handles a bit more than just haircuts. We do skin treatments too, so the shop smells like different soaps and creams most of the time. It is a neighborhood where people care about how they look. I have a few helpers because it is hard to manage the hair and the skin care side of things all by myself. We have some decent mirrors and the lighting is good so we can see what we are doing. The floor is a light color, so I have to be very careful about sweeping up all the time. Mysore is a beautiful city and this part of it is quite nice to work in. We get women and men coming in, though mostly it is people from the surrounding houses. I don't have a mission statement or anything like that. I just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer. Sometimes we have a lot of people waiting and it gets a bit loud with everyone talking at once. I try to keep things organized but sometimes it is just busy. We use standard products that we know are safe. It is a straightforward business and we just try to do our jobs well every single day.
