Aminity Beauty Salon

Aminity Beauty Salon is up on the first floor of the Sigma Shopping Complex. It’s right on Kantraj Urs Road in Kuvempunagar, so it’s easy to find if you’re out shopping. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, but mostly we are focused on what’s happening inside. We have various stations set up for different things like threading, facials, or hair work. It’s a busy little spot, especially on weekends when everyone has time off. The shopping complex usually has a lot of noise, but once you come upstairs, it feels a bit more contained. We’ve been in Mysore for a while now, and we know many of the faces that come through the door. It isn't some high-end spa with soft music playing everywhere. It’s just a place where women come to get things sorted out. There are bottles of lotion and stacks of towels everywhere you look. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, there is hair on the floor and clips scattered around. That’s just the way it goes when you’re working. The mirrors have seen a lot of changes over the years. We don't spend time on fancy speeches about beauty. We just do the work that needs doing. By the end of the day, the chairs are empty and we’re ready to do it all again tomorrow. It is a simple life and we like the people we meet.
