Amity Hair And Beauty Saloon

Our saloon is inside the Aishwarya Complex in the Hebbal Extension area of Mysore. We are in Vijaynagar II Stage, right across from the big water tank, which is an easy landmark for anyone trying to find us. The shop is set up for both hair and beauty services, so we have different sections for haircuts and for other treatments. It is a nice, bright space where the sun comes in through the front windows in the afternoon. We have been here for a while and have gotten to know many of the families who live in this part of Mysore. The atmosphere is usually quite relaxed, though it picks up on the weekends when more people have free time. We have comfortable chairs for the customers and we try to keep a good supply of clean towels and products on hand. There is always a bit of a scent of hairspray and lotions in the air. We spend our days chatting with the people who come in while we work on their hair or skin. It is a simple business where we focus on the daily tasks of grooming and helping people look a bit neater. The view of the water tank across the road is something we see every day from the doorway. It’s a steady job in a nice neighborhood and we like being part of the local community. Most of the time it is just the usual routine of washing, cutting, and styling for the neighbors.
