Sotc Holiday World

So, we are over here at No.3390 on 20th-E Main in Mysore. It’s a pretty standard street, not too loud but never really silent either. Sotc Holiday World has been operating out of this spot for a bit now, and most of us who work here are locals. We spend our days mostly looking at computer screens, trying to figure out flight timings and hotel bookings for families who want to go away for the summer. The office is a bit small, and we have a lot of brochures stacked up on the shelves that sometimes fall over if you aren't careful. People come in and out all day, mostly asking about prices or looking for recommendations for places they saw on the internet. We try to give them the straight facts without making it sound too complicated. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait around, which gives us time to grab a coffee from the shop down the road. It’s a practical kind of place. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. Just some maps on the wall and chairs for people to sit while we print out their tickets. It’s just a group of us trying to keep everything moving smoothly so nobody’s holiday gets messed up. We’ve lived in Mysore for years, so we know the shortcuts and the best times to avoid the traffic when coming into work. It’s a decent life here, and we just keep at it every day.
