Relax Hair Mens Parlour is situated in Vijayanagar, Mysore - 570017. You can find us right near Kannan Bakery, which is a popular spot for people to grab a snack. We chose the name Relax because we wanted the shop to be a place where guys can just sit down for a bit and not feel rushed. It’s not a huge place, but we keep it tidy. We have the usual black chairs and the mirrors that line the wall. Every morning we open up the shutters and get the place ready for the day. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. We just have the things we need to cut hair and trim beards. The neighborhood of Vijayanagar is quite active, so we get a good mix of young students and older men who have lived here forever. We don't use any high-tech gadgets. We stick to our scissors, combs, and razors. It’s a very manual job and we take our time to do it right. Sometimes the shop is full of chatter, and other times it’s just the sound of the fans and the clippers. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on people seeing the shop and coming in. It’s a plain, honest shop and we are happy to be here serving the local people day in and day out. We just keep our heads down and focus on what the person in the chair wants.
