Raj Tours And Travels

Our place is at No.98, right on the first floor over in Bannimantap-C-Layout. It’s a good spot in Mysore because it’s easy to find once you get into the area. Raj Tours And Travels is basically a small office where we keep track of our cars and drivers. If you look out the window, you can see the main road and all the traffic going by. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of all the construction nearby, but we keep the fans going. We have a few desks pushed together and a big whiteboard where we write down who is going where. It’s not the most modern setup, but it works for us. Most of our day is spent on the phone, talking to drivers who are stuck in traffic or customers who are wondering where their ride is. We have a small bench for people to wait on, and usually, there’s a newspaper lying around that’s a couple of days old. We don’t do anything too fancy here. We just make sure the vehicles are clean and the paperwork is done so the trips can happen. It’s a local business, so we know most of the people in the neighborhood. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with something. We like the rhythm of it, even when things get a bit chaotic during the wedding season when everyone wants a car to go to the ceremonies.
