Our spot is at the Club Mahindra Kodagu Valley in Coorg. Manoj is the one who handles a lot of the HR stuff from the office here in Madikeri. It’s a beautiful area, as you probably know if you’ve been to Karnataka. Working at a resort means things are always a bit different every day. One day we are dealing with guest stuff, and the next day it's all about the staff. Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited is a big name, but here in the valley, it feels more like a community. We have a lot of local people working with us. The air is fresh, but the hills make getting around a bit of a trek sometimes. We don't spend much time writing long descriptions of ourselves. We are usually too busy making sure the rooms are ready or checking on the grounds. The office is tucked away where we can get the paperwork done in peace. It’s a lot of coordination to keep a place like this running. Sometimes it gets really crowded during the holidays, and we all have to pitch in. It’s honest work in a nice setting. We just try to keep things moving so the guests stay happy and the staff has what they need. That’s really all there is to it. We just live and work here in the valley, helping folks enjoy their time off.
