B. Himmatlal Agrawal & Co. is based out in Ranganathapura, right on the Mysore-Bannur Road. We are in a place called Madegowdanahundi, which is part of the Kasaba Hobli in T. Narasipura Taluk. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but it’s where we belong. Being out here away from the big city of Bangalore is different. The pace is a bit slower and we know the land around us. Our business has been part of this taluk for a long time. We deal with people from all over the local area. The Mysore-Bannur Road is a busy stretch, so we see a lot of people passing through. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Our setup is very basic and functional. We spend our days handling the day-to-day tasks that keep the business running. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially during the heavy rains when the roads get muddy. But we just keep going. It’s a family name on the door and we try to respect that by just being honest workers. We don't use a lot of big words to explain ourselves. We are just here in T. Narasipura doing what we have always done. If you come by, you’ll likely find us sitting and working or talking to a neighbor who stopped in. It is a straightforward way of living and working for us.
