If you’re looking for us, we’re right next to the Amrutheshwara Temple in Devaraja Mohalla. It’s a nice part of Mysore, actually. Being at 1297/1 Dewan means we get to hear the temple bells in the mornings. Ayush Pharmaceutical Distributor is basically a warehouse full of boxes. We spend a lot of time checking expiration dates and loading trucks. It’s a lot of manual work. The smell of the temple incense sometimes drifts into our storage area. It gets quite crowded on festival days, and getting a delivery van through the street is nearly impossible then. We’ve been at this for a bit. It’s mostly just making sure the right medicines get to the right pharmacies on time. We don't have a big fancy reception or anything. Just some metal shelves and a couple of desks that have seen better days. The floor is concrete and it’s always a bit cool inside, which is good for the stock. Our staff mostly lives nearby, so we all walk or take the bus. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s quiet. Dealing with the suppliers takes up most of the morning. It’s a simple life. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just distributing what people need. The building has some character, old walls and narrow doors. It works for what we need. It's just a regular local business in the middle of a busy neighborhood.
