Ing Vysya Life Insurance

Living and working in Mysore is a bit different than the bigger cities. Our office for Ing Vysya Life Insurance is at No 07 in the D Block of the Jail Quarters. It is a bit of a unique spot to have an office, but it works for us. The area is relatively calm compared to the center of town. We have the usual office setup with some old wooden desks and a few computers that we rely on. Most days are pretty steady. We get in, check the mail, and start working through the folders. Being in the Jail Quarters area means it is easy to find if you know the landmark. We don't have any big neon signs or anything like that. It is just a regular door with our name on it. Inside, it smells a bit like old paper and ink, which is what you expect in this line of work. We take our lunch breaks together and sometimes talk about the weather or what is happening in the neighborhood. It is a small team here, so we all know each other well. We are not trying to be anything we aren't. This is just where the paperwork gets handled and the phone gets answered. It is a simple life in 57007, and we are quite okay with that way of doing things. This is our base and we just keep at it every single day.
