Varshita Hair Dress& Mens Parlour

Varshita Hair Dress & Mens Parlour is located right on Hunsur Road. We are in the Hinkal area of Mysore, very close to the Ganesha Temple. You can usually hear the bells from the temple when they have their morning prayers. It is a good landmark for people trying to find us. The shop is mainly for men who need a shave or a haircut without any fuss. We have the usual black chairs and the spray bottles for water. The floor gets a bit dusty because Hunsur Road is always busy with cars and bikes going past. We try to keep the door closed when it’s too windy outside. Inside, it’s a bit cramped if more than three people are waiting, but everyone is patient. We have a small mirror for the back of the head so people can see what we did. Most of our customers come from the nearby houses in Hinkal. They know us by name and we know how they like their hair cut without even asking. Sometimes we have a small TV running in the corner, but mostly it’s just the sound of work. It’s a plain shop for plain people who just want to look a bit tidier. We don't have any staff in uniforms or anything like that, just us doing the daily chores. Sometimes the morning tea guy stops by and we take a short break.
