V-Wella Salon

We are located in the Aishwarya Building right on New Kantharaj Urs Road in Kuvempunagar. It is not a very big place, but it works for what we do every day. Being near Ballal Circle means there is always some traffic passing by outside. We usually open up early to get the shop ready, mostly just sweeping the floor and making sure the water is topped up in the sprayers. The chairs are getting a bit older now, but they are still comfortable enough for a twenty-minute sit. Mysore can get quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the doors open sometimes to catch a breeze. People from the neighborhood come in and out, some stay to chat while others are in a hurry. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the basic mirrors and a few shelves for the combs and oils. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have going here. Every day is mostly the same, which is fine with us. We handle the scissors and the razors without much fuss. If you are walking down the street, you will see our sign. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast when it's busy, so someone is always grabbing the broom. We just try to keep things moving. There isn't any big secret to how we run things, we just show up and do the work that needs doing for whoever walks through the door.
