Shanaz Beauty Saloon

This saloon is located right within the area of Infosys Technologies in the Hootagalli Industrial Area of Mysore. Being inside or near such a big tech campus means we get a lot of workers who are in a hurry. They come in during their lunch breaks or right after their shifts end. I have to keep an eye on the clock because my customers are always worried about getting back to their desks. The space is kept clean and we use good products because the people here expect that. I’ve got several chairs set up and the mirrors are always polished. Mysore can get warm, but we have a decent setup to keep the place cool. Hootagalli is a bit out of the main city center, so it feels like its own little world here with all the factories and offices around. I’ve been running this place for a while and I’ve seen many people come and go as they change jobs. We do everything from basic haircuts to more involved skin treatments. I like to keep the atmosphere calm because most of my customers have been sitting in front of computers all day and they just want to relax for thirty minutes. The smell of jasmine and shampoo is always present. I usually spend my mornings checking the inventory and making sure we have enough clean towels for the afternoon rush. It is a steady job and I enjoy the conversations I have with the various people who work in the industrial area.
