Sri Maatha Event Organiser

Our shop is located in the Raghvendra School Building right on Cauvery Main Road. It’s a familiar spot for people living around Raghavendra Nagar here in Mysore. We’ve been in shop 122/3 for a while now, and it’s where we do all our planning and prep work. You can usually find us surrounded by stacks of chairs, rolls of fabric, or boxes of decorations that need sorting. It’s not a very quiet job, especially when we are loading up the van for a weekend. Mysore is a nice place to work, though it gets quite busy during the festival seasons. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who walk into the shop with their own ideas. We don't really have a big corporate office; it’s more of a workspace where things actually happen. Sometimes the floor is a bit messy with scraps of ribbon or paper, but that's just part of the process. We try to keep things simple and just do what needs to be done for whoever walks through the door. The 570019 area has a good community feel, and we’ve gotten to know many of the neighbors over the years. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting things and moving around, but it keeps us busy. We just focus on getting the details right without making a big deal out of it. Most days we are just tired but glad to have finished everything on time.
