Ballon Planet

We are based in Sharadadevi Nagar in Mysore, right at No. 765 on 14th Cross. If you walk by, you’ll probably see a lot of bright colors through the window. We deal with balloons and decorations all day long. It sounds like fun, but it’s actually a lot of physical work, especially the blowing up and the tying. Our fingers get sore after a big job. The shop is filled with tanks of gas and bags of different shapes and sizes. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes. Mysore is a relatively quiet city compared to others, and we like the pace here in Sharadadevi Nagar. We do a lot of birthday parties and small home events. People usually just drop by to see what we have. We aren't a big chain store or anything. Just a local shop where we do everything ourselves. Sometimes the balloons pop at the wrong time and we have to start over. It can be frustrating, but we’ve gotten good at fixing things on the fly. We don't use any fancy sales talk at Ballon Planet. We just show people what we can do with what we have. It’s a simple business, really. We spend most of our time untangling ribbons or checking the helium levels. It’s not glamorous work, but it fills the day. We have regular customers from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. We just keep doing our thing and hope the weather stays clear.
