Regional Forums

We are located right in Vijayanagar, just next to the CSR Water Tank quarters. If you live in Mysore, you probably know the area well enough. Regional Forums is not some big corporate thing. It is mostly about getting people together and making sure the space is ready for whatever talk or meeting is happening. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after one event and setting up for the next one. It gets dusty, and sometimes the chairs need fixing, but that is just part of the job. Being near the water tank makes it easy for people to find us, which is a good thing because Mysore streets can get confusing for visitors. We have been here for a bit now, just keeping the doors open and handling the bookings. It is not always exciting work, but it needs to get done. We handle the lights, the seating, and making sure the microphones actually work when someone starts speaking. Sometimes things break or the power goes out, and we have to scramble to fix it. It is just a local place where things happen. We do not have a big staff, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to moving heavy tables. It is a quiet enough neighborhood most days, which we like. We just focus on keeping the place running for whoever needs it.
