Kgn Furnitures

Kgn Furnitures is located on T N Pura Main Road in Siddarthanagar. We are right by the Terician College Circle, so we get a lot of students and families walking past our shop every day. Our workspace is full of the smell of wood and the sound of hand tools. It’s a working shop, not one of those fancy showrooms where you aren’t allowed to touch anything. We have pieces of wood leaning against the walls and sawdust on the floor most days. We make furniture that is meant to be used and to last for a long time. We don't use much fancy machinery; a lot of the work is done by hand with simple tools and a lot of patience. We’ve been here in Mysore for a long time, and we know what kind of styles and wood the people here like. We don't have a website with glossy photos or anything like that. If you want to see what we’re making, you just have to come by the shop and see for yourself. We talk to people about what they need for their homes and we try to build it for them as best as we can. Sometimes it takes a bit longer than we expected because we’re just a small crew of workers. We don't use big sales pitches. If a chair is sturdy and well-made, it’s sturdy. That’s all there is to it. We just focus on making things.
