Jupiter Stores

We’re located at No.153 in Shivarampet. Most people know us because we’re right beside Raja Coffee Works, which usually smells pretty great in the mornings. Being in Mysore is nice, and Shivarampet is one of those areas that always feels alive. Jupiter Stores has been around for a long time. We aren't a modern supermarket with bright lights and scanners. It’s more of an old-school setup where we know where everything is kept, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. The shelves are high and the aisles are narrow, but it’s been that way since we opened. We get a lot of regulars who have been coming here for years. They know our names and we know theirs. It’s the kind of place where you can have a quick chat while you're getting what you need. The 570001 area has its own charm, with all the small shops packed together. We don't do much in terms of fancy displays or big sales. We just keep the stock replenished and open the doors every morning. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. Our staff is small, just a couple of people who have been with us forever. We like it here in Shivarampet. It’s a simple business, but it’s our life and we’re happy to keep it going.
