Tiny Tots High School

Tiny Tots High School is located in a very busy part of Sitamarhi, right near the railway station in the Naya Tola area. It is Ward No 25, Mehsoul, for those who need the exact spot. Because we are near the Bazar and the station, it is never really quiet. You can always hear the trains or the horns from the street. The school itself is a bit of a maze with different rooms for the different ages. Despite the name, we go all the way up through the high school years now. The kids come from all over the local neighborhood. Some walk, some come on rickshaws. It gets very crowded in the mornings and at home time. The building is right in the middle of the action, so there isn't a huge amount of extra land, but we make use of every corner we have. The teachers are local people who understand the rhythm of life in Sitamarhi. We don't have any flashy equipment or expensive playgrounds, just regular classrooms where the work gets done. It is a very grounded place. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We are just a local school providing a place for kids to study in a busy part of town. Parents like that we are easy to reach, even if the traffic is a bit much sometimes. It’s just how life is here in the Bazar. It's a loud place but the kids are used to it and they keep focused.
