Asasa Nursery

Asasa Nursery is located in a place called Bajidpur Gorhaul, which is in the Sitamarhi district of Bihar. It’s quite far from the big cities, so things move at a much slower pace out here. We deal with plants and trees every single day. It’s all about the soil and the seasons. Our nursery isn't a fancy garden center with paved paths or anything like that. It’s more of a working plot of land where we grow things from seeds and cuttings. We spend most of our time outdoors, regardless of whether it’s pouring rain or the sun is beating down. My hands are almost always dirty from the mud, but that’s just how it is when you work with nature. Sitamarhi is a quiet area, and being in Bajidpur Gorhaul means we have a lot of space for the plants to grow. We don’t have a big staff, just a few local people who know how to handle the saplings. We don't use any fancy technology here. It’s just basic tools, some water, and a lot of patience. People from nearby villages come to us when they need something for their own land. We just have a chat, show them what’s growing well, and help them pick what they need. It’s a very honest way to make a living. There’s no rush, and every day is pretty much the same, which we actually quite like because it's peaceful.
